St.PeterPaul Special School - Mugaiyur Village :
Since 1995, the St. Peter Paul Special Residential School has been a beacon of hope for disabled children in Villupuram District, challenging negative beliefs about disability. Offering formal education and vocational training, the school aims to make children independent and self-sustaining. Over 29 years, it has supported thousands of children with various disabilities, providing a range of services including physiotherapy, vocational training, and scholarships. Through its dedicated services, the school empowers disabled children to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

St.PeterPaul Primary School - Puravadai Village :
Since 1991, SPECT has transformed Puravadai, a once impoverished village plagued by bonded labor. Through the establishment of a primary school, they abolished the bonded labor system and provided education to Dalit children. Despite challenges, SPECT ensured every child received an education. Over 32 years, their dedication has empowered the Dalit community, with 39 children currently enrolled in a school offering government-recognized education and support. SPECT's efforts stand as a testament to their enduring impact on breaking cycles of exploitation and harassment.

Robert Schwaab memorial Sewing skill training centre :
SPECT launched a tailoring skill training center in 2021 to empower rural poor women. The program covers sewing from basics to advanced techniques, offering certificates and sewing machines to deserving participants. Additionally, it assists with bank loans and job placement. So far, the center has trained 120 women from marginalized communities, helping them achieve economic independence and improve their quality of life.

Selva Printers and Training Center :
Since 2015, SELVA Printers and Training Centre, part of SPECT, has trained over 65 disabled children in printing and graphic design. Graduates secure positions in printing presses and graphic design companies. SPECT also employs six disabled adults full-time and operates a commercial unit fulfilling various printing orders. Recently, a second commercial unit specializing in flex printing was established to meet growing demand, providing more training and employment opportunities for differently abled individuals.

Higher Educational Scholarship Program
SPECT supports underprivileged families affected by caste-based discrimination, providing scholarships for higher education. This initiative has helped 12 students from single-parent and daily wage-earning families pursue their dreams of higher education this year. By breaking the cycle of poverty, SPECT empowers the next generation to positively contribute to society.

School Garden for Special Children :
SPECT addresses the threat of land conversion by educating disabled children on agriculture. Through a school garden, children learn organic farming while producing nutritious vegetables for meals. Gardening fosters teamwork and life skills, and plans include fencing and raised beds for accessibility.

Emergency Response :
SPECT responds swiftly to both man-made and natural disasters, providing essential relief materials to underprivileged populations without regard for caste or religion. Over the years, they've assisted during cyclones and communal riots, as well as the recent Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. SPECT distributed survival packs to around 1600 families and aided approximately 300 families with disabled children, showcasing their dedication to supporting vulnerable communities in times of crisis.
